At 30 years of age, Scooter the Siamese cat is officially the world's oldest living cat.

Born during the Regan administration, Scooter the cat has been alive to witness three decades worth of world events.

The 30-year-old Siamese cat celebrated his birthday on March 26 in Mansfield, Texas, making him the oldest living cat in the world today.

He's not the oldest cat of all time, however; a fellow Texas cat who lived to the ripe age of 38 holds that title.

Curious to know what Scooter's secret to longevity is? Staying active and keeping busy. Scooter loves to travel, having visited an impressive 45 states over the course of his life. When he's not seeing new places, he enjoys the warmth that comes with being blow-dried after a bath and a tasty snack of chicken every other day.

We hope you had a great birthday, Scooter. Here's to many more years!
