If you lost your pet in Hurricane Harvey, you need to check out this website.
A new website was created to help match people with their pets lost in Hurricane Harvey. There's a good chance that a lost pet could have been picked up by one of the many animal rescue groups. The rescue efforts after the tropical storm were pretty incredible.
The website, texasfloodpets.com, is offered as a free service through the nonprofit organization, Pet Search and Rescue, Inc.
People who are missing a pet in the Texas floodwaters can search a database of lost pets as well as post a picture of their lost pet.
Be sure to share this post with your friends and family in the Houston area and beyond to help spread the word about this great new website helping Harvey pets.
Other animal shelters and animal rescues where pet owners may find their animals lost in the hurricane include Austin Pets Alive, Houston Pets Alive, the Humane Society of the United States, Best Friends Animal Society, and Houston SPCA. Social media is also always a good resource to spread the word of a lost pet.
