A happy dog means a wagging tail, and this Irish Wolfhound's tail might just sweep you off your feet.

Irish Wolfhounds are known to be gentle giants, and Keon is no exception. He loves to swish his tail back and forth to show his happy-go-lucky mood, but at an impressive 30.2 inches long, his tail sometimes seems to have a mind of its own.

When Keon's tail was measured by a veterinarian from base to tip, not including the hair, it was officially determined that the big dog has the longest tail in the world. He beat out a fellow Irish Wolfhound by 1.7 inches. The accomplishment earned him a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records, and his family couldn't be prouder.

The record-breaking canine lives with his family in Belgium where he enjoys life as a pampered house pet. Keon is an Irish name meaning courageous warrior, but according to his owner Ilse Loodts,

"Keon is a great dog, but he's no warrior."

That's because Keon would much rather curl up on the couch than battle off an enemy. Despite his intimidating size, he's a sweet pooch that doesn't always realize how massive he really is. And his record-breaking tail makes him one-of-a-kind.

What do you think about Keon's lengthy tail? Let us know in the comments.
