How long have you been away from your animals before? A week or two, maybe? What if you were deployed and gone for seven months? I cannot imagine. My dogs would eventually just get used to the new routine. My husband travels a lot and after being gone for a week my Beagle howls when he returns and goes on and on like he's been gone for months. It's very sweet.
This soldier had told his girlfriend that he had dreams their dog forgot him while he was gone on deployment for seven months. Turns out he was so very wrong!

These beautiful and emotional reunions are some of the best videos on the internet. Can you imagine leaving your best friend and then reuniting with them so many months later? We thought this heartwarming reunion was unique since the soldier was having dreams that his dog forgot about him!
Some of these American soldiers are with the Air Force and others are with the U.S. Army and the reunions always make me want to cry!
