Calling all dog lovers in Atlanta! There is a new monthly dining event you won't want to miss.

June 11 marks the first annual Doggie Mingle at Hampton + Hudson, a contemporary gastropub in Atlanta.

From 3 - 5 p.m., dogs and their owners are invited to the restaurant's patio for a bite to eat and to connect with other dog lovers and canines in the community. But this event isn't just for fun - it's for a good cause.

While the event itself is free to attend, proceeds from the sale of featured beverages and doggie treats, made by Hampton + Hudson's executive chef Savannah Sasser, will be donated to Doggies On The Catwalk.

Doggies On The Catwalk is an annual fashion fundraising event where celebrities are paired with service dogs to walk the runway. All service dogs at the event come from Canine Assistants, a non-profit that provides service dogs to those in the community with special needs.

If you can't make it on June 11, don't worry! Doggie Mingle is set to be a monthly fundraiser, so there's always next month. Plus, after this month's event, Sasser's homemade dog treats will officially be a staple of the restaurant's menu for any four-legged patrons.
