Rescue Goat Is in Love with UPS Driver, Goes to Say Hi Every Day!

Posted by TF Oren

The heart wants what it wants.

And Pearl's heart belongs to the UPS driver.

Pearl is an 18-year-old rescue goat who lives at the Gentle Barn, a nonprofit farm animal sanctuary in Knoxville, Tennessee.

According to her keepers at the sanctuary, Pearl is a firecracker who can often be found stealing collard greens from the kitchen.

Whenever Pearl hears the UPS truck pull up, she drops everything and runs out to greet the driver. Apparently the fondness is mutual, because the driver always has peanut butter treats on hand.

Pearl is one of many rescued animals who call the Gentle Barn home. Founded in 1999, the sanctuary has locations in both California and Tennessee. You can read more about the organization here.
