Pixar's new film teaser for "Coco" reveals that we'll see much more of a delightful dog named Dante in the future.
Pixar has just released a brief teaser trailer for its new film, "Coco," and the whole teaser is about a dog. The teaser follows a frustrated pup who is trying to catch a bone, but his poor luck makes it difficult for him to capture his meal. Titled "Dante's Lunch," the teaser takes place in the same location that the film "Coco" is to appear in.
According to the film's IMDB page:
"'Coco' follows a 12-year-old boy named Miguel who sets off a chain of events relating to a century-old mystery, leading to an extraordinary family reunion."
The film is scheduled for release on November 22, 2017.
Check out the funny teaser, "Dante's Lunch," below. The trailer for "Coco" is also included.
Currently only limited details for the film are available. We do know that the film is based on the theme of the Day of the Dead, and it clearly plays up the rich colors and music of Mexican culture. The dog in "Dante's Lunch" is presumably Dante, and it looks like he appears in "Coco" as Miguel's dog.
Even though "Dante's Lunch" comes in at under two minutes long, it's another great example of how Pixar captures animals and animal nature so well. Dante is fun to watch, and any dog owner could envision their dog pursuing their lunch the same way that Dante does.
Will you be watching "Coco" when it comes out? What are some of your favorite animal movies?
