One of the unknown advantages to having a mini horse? They make awesome road trip partners.
Imagine that you're driving down the street, come to a stoplight, and glance over at the car next to you. What would your reaction be if you saw this mini horse riding shotgun in the next car over? If you happened to be in Brisbane, Australia, you might have seen this cutie riding around town.
But not only does this young mini ride shotgun, he also helps himself to the driver's coffee, too. He's unbelievably adorable, and is actually really well-behaved, especially considering that he's in a moving car.
How would you like this little guy as your next road trip partner?
Generally, horses travel in horse trailers. But when you have a miniature horse, you have a little more leeway in terms of the form of transportation that you choose. Mini horses are sometimes transported in trailers, but some owners also convert vans and even SUVs to hold these little horses.
If you plan to use such a vehicle, then you'll need to construct a ramp which the mini can safely use to enter and exit the vehicle. It's also a wise idea to find a heavy-duty mat which can make cleanup easier if the mini decides he needs to use the bathroom before you get to your destination.
There are many advantages to having miniature horses, including their versatility and the fact that they cost less to feed than their full-sized counterparts do. Now we can add the fact that they make awesome road trip partners to the list of benefits to having these little horses.
