Have You Met Esther the Wonder Pig?

In Ontario, Canada, a tiny piglet grew... and grew and grew, ultimately inspiring Canada's Happily Ever Esther Farm Sanctuary.

Back in 2012, couple Steve Jenkins and Derek Walker adopted what they thought was a micro piglet. Like many wannabe teacup pig owners, the duo was unfortunately duped. In three years time, Esther the pig grew to a whopping 600 pounds.

But instead of re-homing her, the pair simply adjusted their home environment to make room for the pink porcine. Jenkins and Walker sold their house and opened up Happily Ever Esther Farm Sanctuary in Campbellville, Ontario. Now, Esther isn't the only animal vying for their attention, but she is the spokesperson for the barnyard rescue facility.

The rural center is home to donkeys, horses, cows, pigs, goats, sheep, rabbits, cats, dogs, porcupines, and more. Esther mingles with all the animals on the property.

Volunteers are welcome, and the farm hosts tours for the public, too.

Happily Ever Esther’s first official fundraiser ends in less than three days! We’re doing really well too, but we need your help to get us over the top. So far we have raised a total of $65,792.86, meaning we have $34,207.14 to go before we hit our target. This has been the most incredible year at HEEFS, and we’ve made some really fantastic progress on numerous construction and renovation projects. We also welcomed 39 new residents during our first twelve months on the property, filling every stall and pen we have in our barn. Your donation will allow us to construct the new shelters we so desperately need, and increase our ability to accept some of the countless farm animals with nowhere else to go. We wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for people like you, and we can’t thank you enough for your continued support. With your help, we know we can hit our target, and start 2016 in a solid position as we continue to grow and provide sanctuary to animals in need. Please consider making a tax deductible donation, or even become a recurring monthly supporter by visiting our website at www.happilyeveresther.ca. Ongoing monthly donations of just a few dollars a month can provide critical piece of mind and financial security. Don’t wait, your donation today could be the one that puts us over the top, and there’s no better feeling in the world than knowing you’ve done something for an animal who needs you. Kindness is magic. Sending our love, best wishes, and sincere thanks. Xoxo Steve, Derek, Esther, and the entire Happily Ever Esther family. #farmsanctuary #charity #pig

The giant piggy's social media is filled with entertaining videos of her splashing and napping in the pool.

Jenkins and Walker also post witty captions with the many photos of the oinker in costume, acting as farm sentry, inhaling plates of pies, and much more. Sometimes, she is even photoshopped into celebrity affairs, like Oscar Night and the Superbowl.

And in case you're wondering, Esther does have free roam inside and outside, where she frequently hangs with her best friend, the couples' canine.

Went for a walk with my best friend. It was a long one too, I'm gonna need second dinner when we get home.

The Wonder Pig also has her own cooking page, called Esther's Kitchen, where she posts "Esther-approved" foods to whip up at home.

The local Starbucks even features the Pink Pigtail, a cupcake-flavored frappuccino.

Even better, if you're looking to support the Happily Ever Esther Farm Sanctuary and are also looking for a fun vacation getaway, why not combine both? The Esther Cruise is the real deal; a cruise through the Caribbean with Esther-approved dining and education. All funds go back to the farm. So why not have fun while contributing to a good cause?

When this couple brought home what they thought was a micro piglet, they didn't realize the big dreams that lay ahead of them. Literally. But thanks to Esther's big size and the big hearts of two men, animals have yet another safe haven.
