It is never ok to leave your dog in a hot car.
What follows is the photographic evidence:
Pan...check. Egg...check. Hot car...check. The experiment begins.
The windows were cracked so the egg could have some "fresh air."
After only 15 minutes, the car was roasting inside.

And the egg was fried and ready to eat.
The whole process took a mere 15 minutes. Imagine what 15 minutes inside a roasting car would do to your dog's insides.
Now that it's summertime, it's especially important to be mindful of the temperature. If there's any question about whether it's too hot to bring your dog along, leave him or her at home.
