Guy McLean is hoping to share his performances with a wider audience, but he needs help in order to do it.
McLean recently began a GoFundMe in order to bring his horse shows to schools, retirement homes, and respite centers. McLean notes that he's dedicated to sharing his talents with as many venues as possible, and that he feels audiences would benefit from his uplifting shows.
He's so dedicated to this cause that for every $2,000 raised (which is under half of his standard performance fee) he will dedicate himself to "leaving my audiences with a moment to remember for many years to come."
McLean noted that he is currently having issues obtaining a work visa for America and had to cancel a show at the last minute because of this roadblock. His business took a loss of over $30,000.
"It is my ultimate passion to share my precious 'Australian Stock Horses' and the land that I love (my beloved Australia) with as many people as we can over the coming month before heading back to the world stage. Any donation, big or small, is greatly appreciated and I will do my 'Very Best' to honour the wonderful caring of others, and to share the good of mankind and the animals we love, with all whom I see."
If you've never seen one of McLean's performances, you need to be sure to see this one.
So far, McLean's fundraiser has raised over $8,500 toward its $30,000 goal. You can donate to the GoFundMe here.
