Sometimes it's the little things in life that make us the happiest. For this horse, there's nothing better than this stuffed animal.
Many riders refer to horses as their kids. Horses can be goofy and silly, and in some cases they closely resemble 1,000-pound toddlers. Often, horses play with each other in turnout. There's lots of squealing and running, and some very fast-paced games of tag. But the horse in this video is turned out alone. So, his owner decides to add a stuffed animal to the mix.
And that's where things get fun. Not only does this horse come over to inspect the stuffed animal, but he takes to it right away. In fact, he gallops around the paddock with the stuffed animal - it almost seems like he's showing off his toy to the horse in the next paddock over.
Take a look at this video. You won't regret it.
Have you ever seen a horse so delighted with a toy? Some horses really do like stuffed animals - top performance horses sometimes develop attachments to the toys that they travel with. Of course, the stuffed animals get gross pretty quickly, so it's not always the ideal toy solution for a horse.
There are, however, tons of toys which are manufactured just for horses. Consider opting for a large heavy-duty ball or other toy manufactured for outside use. These toys are made to be able to withstand the force that a horse may exert on them.
Some horses tend to play with toys more than others do, so it may take some experimentation before you find a toy that your horse truly enjoys.
