Harlow the service dog is super smart, has some awesome skills, and is genuinely adorable. Is it any wonder she's taking over Instagram?
Meet Harlow the Golden Retriever; a service dog and an Instagram star. Harlow's owner, Jaquie Blake, is 20 years old and has postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (also known as POTS). This nervous system disorder causes migraines, dizziness, fainting spells, and even narcolepsy. In short, it makes it difficult for Blake to go anywhere by herself. And that's why she has Harlow by her side.
Harlow helps Blake with her mobility, but is also trained to sense when something bad medically is about to happen. In these cases, Harlow alerts Blake. Harlow also helps Blake with mobility skills like picking up car keys and dropped items, and bringing Blake a bottle of water from the fridge.
Blake and Harlow have been together for the past 15 months, and Harlow's training gets better every day. Blake made an Instagram account to chronicle her dog's progress, and today that account has more than 77,000 followers. Blake posts photos and videos of Harlow, and the beautiful dog has become quite popular.
It's easy to understand why - take a look at some of these awesome photos and videos.

Clearly, Blake and Harlow make a great pair. Harlow is an excellent example of how intelligent and well-trained service dogs are. She makes Blake's life easier and safer by performing some everyday tasks, but her ability to sense emergent medical issues is also vital to Blake's safety.
You can also see how Harlow genuinely enjoys the work that she does - she's the perfect example of everything that a great service dog is.
