'Dauntless': A Detailed Look at the Beauty of Riding

"Dauntless" is a beautiful short film which is sure to strike a chord with anyone who loves horses and riding. 

When you were younger, did you dream of riding a galloping horse across open fields? Did you find art in every element of the horse, from saddle pads to girths to saddles to the angles of the horse's legs? Do you love the sounds that accompany life with horses - the horse's breath, the footfalls, the creak of the leather saddle?

If so, then "Dauntless" is for you. "Dauntless" is a short film which explores the details of what it's like to work with and ride a horse. It chronicles a young woman and her horse as they prepare for a ride, then take off at full gallop. Freeing, intimate, and wonderfully artistic, this video is sure to stir emotion even in those who have never before ridden a horse.

So what is it about "Dauntless" that is so captivating? The first aspect is that it's realistic. There are no fairy tale bonds between horse and rider - rather, you can see the very real bond between the young woman and her horse.

The piece builds in volume and intensity, unleashing just at the moment that the woman and horse take off at a gallop.
