Cesar Classics Filet Mignon Recalled Due to Plastic Pieces Found in Food

If you feed your dog Cesar Classics Filet Mignon flavor food, then you need to read this important recall!

Mars Petcare US has recalled its Cesar Classics Filet Mignon dog food due to hard white plastic pieces that have been found in the food. The plastic pieces got into the food during its production, and can cause choking hazards for dogs. While only a few dog owners have found the pieces, Mars Petcare US states that there have been no injuries or illnesses reported as a result.

The recalled Cesar Classics Filet Mignon food has "best before" dates of August 4, 2018 and August 5, 2018. The food is available in multipacks and as individual cans. The lot codes affected are as follows: 632D14JC, 633B24JC, 634A14JC, 634A24JC, 634B14JC, 634B24JC, 634E14JC, 635A24JC, 635B14JC, 636D24JC, 636E14JC. Lot codes are printed on the side of the plastic tray.

Please, check your cabinets and make sure that the food that you have is not affected by this recall. If you do have dog food which was recalled, you can return it to the retailer you purchased it from.
