Dog owners requested that dogs have their own wine, too.
Apollo Peak released a cat wine in June and it was a big hit. Since the release, dog owners have wondered why the wine was exclusive to cats. What if they wanted to stay in and have a glass of wine with their dog?
Apollo Peak listened to their dog fan base and is now creating a non-alcoholic wine for dogs aptly called ZinFanTAIL and CharDOGNay.
Big things are coming!! Today, we have officially launched our line of #dogwine for our canine friends. First shipments will begin in September. Limited quantities available so preorder now to get your place in line for a shipment. #apollopeak #catwine #dogwine #canine #puppy #puppies #puppiesofinstagram #dogsofinstagram #dogs #dog #doglover
The wine will be made from red and yellow beets with hints of chamomile and peppermint to help your dog wind down after a ruff day.
"It's more of a relaxant," Apollo Peak founder Brandon Zavala said. "They'll get more of that mellow mood."
While chamomile can be dangerous to dogs with certain allergies, the dosage isn't large enough to truly harm a pup. Of course, Apollo Peak suggests talking with your vet before giving your dog anything new.
There are beers marketed specifically to dogs as well, but now your four-legged bestie can have the choice of a glass of CharDOGNay if they are watching their calories.
