Ever wonder what would happen if you took a cat to a dog show?
Well, wonder no more. Boomer the Bengal cat is here to answer that very question. He may be outnumbered in droves, but there's no doubt that Boomer the cat is top dog at this Australian dog show. Owned by professional animal trainer Robert Dollwet, Boomer is about the dog-friendliest cat you'll ever meet.
Strolling around on his leash - that's right, cat on a leash - like a boss, and equipped with a GoPro, Boomer comes nose to nose with 50 different pooches, including Poodles, Pugs, Beagles, Boxers, and, best of all, one very concerned Dachshund.
Boomer's no wallflower. From curious sniffs, to sloppy kisses, to a game of "gotcha!", Boomer steals the show from the moment the camera starts rolling. Check out Boomer's meet-and-greet with 50 of his closest canine pals:
Boomer knows he's the star of the show, but stardom is hard work and he needs to take a load off. So, he takes a few moments to soak it all in, lounging on the grass, surrounded by a crowd of admirers.
Boomer's owner Robert Dollwet, who has over 30 years of experience as an animal trainer, is quick to note that Boomer is professionally trained, and that taking a cat to a dog show isn't something he'd advise under any other circumstances. And if you're thinking about adding a Bengal to your family, he cautions that they are high maintenance cats with much different requirements than other breeds.
