Awesome Example of How to Make a Great Sale Video for Your Horse

If you're planning to create a sale video for your horse, you need to check out this video for an excellent example of just what to do.

A great sale video is an essential tool in selling a horse. However, many sale videos are lacking.

It's become popular to show horses doing incredible feats, like being ridden while covered with a tarp or jumping high fences, but these videos often leave out important aspects that interested buyers want to see.

The video below showcases Simon, an eight-year-old Thoroughbred gelding, and it does a great job of demonstrating his laid-back, well-mannered nature. Take a look and consider whether you want Simon in your stable after seeing this video.

Simon is a very sweet 8 year old thoroughbred gelding. 16.1 hands. Great ground manners, stands perfectly for the vet and farrier. Quiet in the crossties, loves to be groomed. Very safe under saddle and has a great mind. Hacks out alone or with a friend, no buck or rear, not spooky. Sound, no history of lameness. Location North Georgia , Chatsworth.

So what's so great about this sale video? It not only shows Simon under saddle, but also demonstrates his excellent behavior on the ground. From having his feet picked out to standing while being mounted to quietly loading into a horse trailer, Simon demonstrates impeccable manners, even when handled by a young girl.

It's evident that he takes care of his rider, and this video demonstrates traits that make Simon marketable to a wide sector of riders.

If we could change one thing about the video, we would want to see more under saddle work, including gait transitions. However, the short and sweet nature of this video is a great attention-grabber, and the seller could always follow up with additional under saddle videos for interested parties.

All in all, this is a great sale video that quickly gives us a sense of Simon's temperament. We'll bet he sells quickly, especially when he's being showcased so well.

What do you think of Simon's sale video? Would you want him in your stable? Tell us in the comments!
