Golden Retrievers are level five clingers.
If you want to learn about the different dog breeds you could compile research from the American Kennel Club, breed organizations, or individual owners. Alternatively you could just read this comic series by artist Grace Gogarty.
Gogarty, who goes by the name Little Tunny online, is a dog lover and artist from St. Louis. She loves drawing cartoons, and sells her work on t-shirts and stickers online. She also appears to be an expert at describing the personalities of her numerous and varied canine friends.
As she said in an interview with Bored Panda:
"I've been drawing comics since I was a kid. I absolutely love animals so that's usually my focus! I worked as a supervisor at a doggy daycare for years and got to meet lots of dogs. The breeds featured in this guide are the breeds I met the most of."
She covers a wide range of canine personalities, from small dogs like Chihuahuas to medium-sized breeds like Labs and large dogs like Great Danes. And readers have been finding the descriptions on her black and white sketches to be both accurate and laugh-out-loud hilarious.
Not every dog makes an appearance, however. If a breed is missing from the guide, it's because Gogarty hasn't met enough of them to make an accurate personality assessment.
"Sadly, I haven't met every dog in the word yet, so I couldn't write about them all," Gogarty said. "Although I stereotype them, all dogs are wonderful individuals, so I couldn't possibly pick a favorite breed!"
