Handcrafted and made of certified organic cotton, these adorable animal pillows will make a perfect addition to any animal lover's home.
Looking for a great gift for the animal lover who seems to have everything? We may have found the perfect solution for you: These adorable animal pillows.
Available in the shapes of chickens, bees, otters, cats, and other animals, these pillows are beautifully crafted by mother and art teacher, Casey Everett. Everett, of Rockport, Maine, is an art teacher at the Islesboro Central School. She grew up on a dairy farm, then later began making home goods for her family inspired by nature and farm life. Her goods evolved into a business called Hearth and Harrow, and today Everett makes pillows, tea towels, cloth napkins, and more.
Everett works out of her barn, and her husband screenprints the designs that she creates. Then, Everett creates and stuffs pillows and finishes the products.
All of Everett's products are eco-friendly. She uses certified organic cotton that is grown in Texas and then woven in South Carolina. The inks are all water-based, and the fiberfill is recycled. The hand-printed products are beautiful, and the pillows are hand-sewn. The pillows are made of products that are entirely grown and manufactured right here in the USA. They have a minimal carbon footprint, and help to support jobs here in our own country.
Love these adorable animal pillows and want to pick up a few as gifts (or for your own home)? You can order them on the Hearth and Harrow website, as well as on Etsy. Prices range from $28 to $52.
