Several farm animals decided to take themselves on a morning stroll in an Alpharetta, Georgia neighborhood.
The animals perused front lawns, wandered down sidewalks, and even explored some Halloween decorations. All in all, they were pretty well behaved and didn't cause too much damage, though it would have been easy to do given the manicured lawns of the neighborhood.
Take a look at this group of animals as they get a taste of freedom:
The animals included a donkey, a cow, some goats, and a big hog. The man filming notes that he believed that they escaped from a nearby farm and decided to go wandering.
Animals have a way of escaping when it's least convenient. Sometimes, despite the best fences and the tightest gate latches, animals still manage to find ways to escape. Goats in particular are amazing escape artists, though horses can also be quite talented at finding freedom.
Luckily for these farm animals, the neighborhood looks to be a quiet one without too much traffic. However, that isn't always the case.
If you have animals that might escape, it's a good idea to consider investing in a second line of fencing to go around your property's perimeter. That way, if an animal does get loose, they're still contained safely on your property and catching them will be much easier and safer.
How would you react if you woke up to find a cow, pig, donkey, and goat on your front lawn? Tell us in the comments!
