A Flight Attendant Helps Reunite Retired Military Dogs with Their Soldiers

Flight attendant Molli Oliver dedicates her free time to reuniting retired military dogs with their soldiers. And it's beautiful.

Military dogs and the soldiers they work with face life-threatening situations every day. The dogs help to sniff out bombs and other potential deadly situations, keeping both themselves and their handlers safe. The handlers owe their lives to these military dogs, but sometimes the pairs are separated when one or the other retires. That's where one very special flight attendant comes in.

Flight attendant Molli Oliver dedicates her free time to reuniting retired military dogs with their soldiers. When the military dogs are retired, they are often offered up to their soldiers first before any attempt to find another home for the dog is made. But these dogs are sometimes located thousands of miles away from their soldiers, and making arrangements to get them home can be difficult.

So Oliver helps to get the dogs back to their soldiers, all across the country. She flies with the dogs on their trips home, meeting soldiers at the airport and witnessing the beautiful reunions firsthand. Take a look at this video to see just one of those incredible reunions.

It's evident how passionate Oliver is about her work, and you can't deny the incredible bond that these military dogs and their soldiers share. After serving in the military for years, we can't think of a better ending to these dogs' stories than to bring them home to the people they worked so hard to protect.

Thanks to Oliver's work, these awesome reunions are made possible.
