Fat Cat Swimming Leaves News Anchor in Stitches on Live TV

Everything is funnier in situations where you're not supposed to laugh.

Reporting the news, for example, is one of those situations. Unfortunately for WDBJ7 news anchor Susan Bahorich, there's just no escaping a serious case of the giggles as she reports a fluff piece on a fat cat learning to swim.

The rapid descent into hysterics begins just seconds into the segment as Bahorich introduces the little swimmer, Holly, by name. It's quite clear that once the gates have been opened, there's no hope of recovery for the anchor. Giggles turn to belly laughs, and belly laughs to cackles. Game over.

Bahorich's giggles are infectious. We dare you to watch this and not laugh:

Forty seconds of your day well spent, right? We thought so. Share this little gem with anyone who could use a laugh.

And while a news anchor cracking up over a swimming cat is hilarious, pet obesity isn't. These 10 states are reported to have the highest rates of pet obesity, something every responsible pet owner should be aware of to keep their friends happy and healthy.
