Kodi the Cat Hates It When He's Home Alone

When left home alone, this cat makes it very easy to see just how he thinks about the fact that his owner isn't around.

Have you ever wondered what your cat does when you're at work or running errands and he's at home alone? Is your cat really attached to you and does he miss you when you're not around, or does he just spend the day sleeping or getting into trouble until you get home?

Well, one cat owner set up a video camera to find out just what their cat does while he's home alone. It turns out that Kodi the cat seems pretty content to play for a bit, but then he starts to meow (rather pathetically) when he gets his toy stuck on his paw. Is he calling out for his owner? Is he just expressing his frustration?

Take a look and see what you think.

If your cat gets up to trouble or seems unhappy when he's home alone, one of the simplest ways to solve the problem is to get him a buddy. Many cats do well when they have another feline friend around, but it's important to make sure that you choose the right new addition for your cat. A gradual introduction can help your cat to get comfortable with the new kitty, and hopefully the two bond.

If adding another cat to your family isn't practical right now, there are other ways to help keep your cat occupied when you're not around. Pick up a few special cat toys that you only put out when you're leaving the house. This helps to keep the toys fresh and interesting to your cat, and will give him something fun to do when he's home alone. You might also hide some cat treats around the house so that your cat stays occupied "hunting."

Most cats do just fine when they're left at home while you're at work, but it's a good idea to keep an eye on your cat and make sure that he's not too lonely when you're not around.
