So, are you in search of a beach for some beach riding? Be sure to find out the beach’s regulations about horses. Many beaches prohibit horses or only allow them during the off-season.

Even if horses are allowed, the beach may have specifications about where horses may and may not travel – many don’t want horses traveling on dunes, since they can damage the grasses and the eggs of birds which nest there. If you decide to go on a beach ride, bring a pitchfork and bucket so you can pick up after your horse.
